Brad.jpgIt was just a few short years ago that we reached the milestone of 50,000 clients and now we are hard charging for 75,000! We are experiencing record numbers of clients who are renewing their programs once they've used all their vacations and record numbers of travelers. As we continue to grow, so does our inventory. Aside from the great properties highlighted in this newsletter, visit the website often (www.planwithtan.com) to see the ever-expanding list. Speaking of new inventory, I am writing this as my family and I are headed to Park City, Utah, for some school break skiing. While out there, I anticipate picking up new inventory (a property that caught my eye a few years ago and we have been tracking it ever since). My kids are the greatest critics (lots of practice!) and get to join me on a couple of vacation/inspection trips annually. Earlier this winter, we visited long-time property Lifestyle Tropical Beach Resort & Spa (formerly Hacienda). The kids all rated it their favorite spot to date. Laila (13 months) chowed on fresh fruit constantly. Maddie (13) and Tori (12) enjoyed deep discounts on souvenirs by negotiating aggressively with the local vendors. Jack (10) was just as happy to explore the beach for shells and any marine life he could find (including a huge live conch!)

Our search for inventory includes familiar locations that are in high demand by you and new and exciting locations that we think will thrill you. Witness the areas in demand with South Florida (we respond with South Palm Suites) and the Poconos (we respond with Woodfield Manor). In terms of exciting new areas we introduce Wildwood Shores on Texas' scenic Lake Conroe (wait ‘til you see these cozy lakefront units) and Marina Del Sol in Mazatlán, Mexico (a wonderful Pacific Coast beach location). If there are other areas that you would like to see in our program, simply send your suggestions to our property management department.

Finally, in all the years of newsletters and client communications, I don't recall ever thanking you for your feedback. Our response rate to the vacation surveys is abnormally high by any mail or hospitality industry standards. Your feedback is digested for praise and constructive criticism—all in an effort to strengthen what we are doing correctly and to improve on areas that need it. The volume of surveys has gotten so large that we have finally taken it outside our four walls. New this year, we have contracted with a vendor to send and compile our surveys. Having a professional survey organization take the lead has allowed us to ask better questions and interpret trends and data much more significantly. In other words, if you have liked how well we listened to you before, wait until you see what's to come. It's like the surveys just went to high definition!
