Q. How long am I required to pay my service charge? A. You are required to pay your service charge until you have utilized all of your vacation weeks, or for as long as you wish to continue your account. You may wish to continue to pay your service charge after your weeks are used. By doing so, your account remains active and you may access Excess Inventory, gift certificates and wholesale weeks, as well as the many other TAN benefits. There is no expiration date on your vacation package and its benefits, as long as you continue to pay your service charge.
Q. Can I have the service charge automatically paid from my checking account or credit card? A. Yes! You may call TAN's Account Management department (800.223.0088 extension 7) to arrange for payments to be deducted from your account each month or once per year.
Q. Where do I send annual service charges and monthly service charges? A. Please send ONLY annual service charges or monthly service charges to: P.O. Box 64220 Baltimore, MD 21264-4220
Q. Who do I call if my service charge is overdue? A. You should call TAN's Account Management department at 800.223.0088, extension 7. You may also still enroll in the monthly auto-pay program if your service charge is overdue.
Q. Do my vacation weeks expire? A. No, your weeks do not expire. You may take as long as you wish to use the vacations you have purchased, as long as you continue to keep your account current by paying your service charge.
Q. If I don’t use my two vacations per year, may I use more the next year? A. If your account is paid in full, you may use as many weeks as you like in any given year; although, you may not use more than two weeks concurrently or consecutively. If you are financing your vacation program and do not use two pre-paid vacations in a year, you may not use more than two pre-paid weeks the following year. As a TAN traveler, however, you have unlimited use of Excess Inventory vacations, as well as the ability to purchase additional vacation weeks at our discounted wholesale rate.
Q. When I have used all of my vacation weeks, what are my options? A. Once you have used all of your pre-paid vacation weeks, you have the option to purchase additional discount-priced, prepaid vacation weeks. Or, you may opt to simply continue paying your service charge and have unlimited use of Excess Inventory vacations, as well as the ability to purchase additional vacation weeks at our discounted wholesale rate.
