Hi there!

[…]My husband and I took our first TAN vacation to Molokai, Hawaii. IT WAS BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!! WE LOVED IT!!!!!! We had the pleasure of getting married there on Kephui Beach and it was soooooo gorgeous!!!!! I have to admit that at first I was hesitant about the whole thing, but once we landed on Molokai, it was sooo beautiful and refreshing that I cried. We stayed at Hotel Molokai and it was AWESOME!!! Everyone was friendly and attentive to our needs and the room was great. We got a great view of the beach from our porch and a very breath taking view from our Lanai of the Hotel's garden with the mountains in background. The whole experience was great!!!!! We became friends with some of the people who live there and we will never forget them. We have decided to go back again next year!!!!! Also we have told many of our friends about TAN experience!

Every May, my husband, John, and I, Dorcas, plan a trip to the Caribbean.  Every year is a wonderful surprise as to where we end up.  One year it was the Bahamas, then the BVI, and now it was Grand Cayman-- we love the Island life.  We always stay away from where everyone tells us we should go.  Usually we drive off onto a side road into a neighborhood and find were the locals hangout.  We have had the best times doing this and the best stories.  Can’t wait to see where TAN will send us next.

Jim & I had the best time at the TAN [property] in Rotonda West.  We want to [give] a big THANK-YOU to Vera Cromwell for helping us plan our wonderful vacation to the west coast of Florida. We have really enjoyed our last 2 vacations on the west coast thanks to TAN. We stayed last year in October at Greenlinks with TAN and that was also a wonderful experience. Here are a few pictures of our good times at Boco Grande and Venice beach, which were very close to TAN's rental home. THANK-YOU to all the people at TAN that make our wonderful vacations possible. We appreciate your dedication to a good job of helping people across the country to enjoy a relaxing vacation.

Hello, [TAN]!

I recently went on a trip to Woodfield Manor for a quick getaway. We went from Wednesday-Sunday through excess inventory. The trip was amazing. We had a great time, the cottage was beautiful, the restaurant amazing, and the host/hostess were simply fantastic. It was the perfect getaway to relax, spend time reading, and re-coop while waiting for winter to pass us by up here in Pennsylvania!

I would just take a moment to thank you for such an efficient and caring customer support department. I was booked for Allegro Cozumel; however due to a family tragedy I was forced to stay home during my vacation this year. After canceling my flights of $1500 which were non-refundable, I was not in great spirits when I needed to call your company to cancel as well. The person I spoke to was VERY KIND in canceling and not charging another week off my vacation plan due to my situation. It showed that there are still caring people in customer support and that we as customers are not just account numbers and voices on the phone. Please do your best to find her and give her a "well done" for me.

Also, Allegro was calling to confirm and leaving a number that I could not reach. I don't think I need to explain how depressing it is to receive calls from a resort that you were supposed to be visiting within two weeks and have recently canceled. I spoke with a TVS vacation coordinator and he would not let me hang up until he was sure Allegro was contacted and that I would not need to call myself. Yet another team member who went the extra step for his customers.

I have been with TAN since the mid 90s. You are truly a once in a lifetime business and I appreciate dealing with such a fine group of people.

I just got back from 2 fantastic weeks at King's Creek in Williamsburg, VA.  I was able to sample both a one-bedroom and a two-bedroom condo unit.  Both units went far beyond my expectations.  They were clean, well-equipped and had amenities that were not listed in the confirmation.  I loved the switch-on-and-off fireplace in the living room of the two-bedroom unit and the spa tub in the one-bedroom unit.  The condo complex [was in] a great location and it was so easy to navigate through the sites in the Williamsburg area.  The staff was friendly and attentive and they did everything they could to ensure that we had a great experience.  I didn't want to come home and I can't wait to visit again.  Thanks to Sara at TAN for helping me to book this wonderful vacation.  I am looking forward to being able to return the next week I have off.

To all the great people at TAN:

             I am writing to let you know that as a client of the TAN program, how happy I have been in the 3 years plus that I have been with you.  I first joined in November 2004 and have had many great vacations that would not have been possible if it had not been for you. 

            My first experience was going to Tarpon Woods in Florida.  I enjoyed  the place so much that we have been back two times since. The condo is very nice and comfortable. I then had a great unit with oceanview at Seabonay on the East coast of Florida. We took a driving trip to Branson, Missouri, and stayed at The Eagles Nest condos, which were very beautiful.  I have been there on two occasions, and both units were very nice. Next I sent my sister and her family to Lakeview Villas in Virginia.  They didn't want to come home! They had two units and loved them very much. Then on to Riverside in Marco Island, Florida, where I could sit on my lanai, drink coffee and watch the boats go by on Marco River.  Very relaxing, and a very nice unit. 

            I went to the Orlando, Florida, area where we stayed at the Villas of Somerset, which was a very beautiful 3-bedroom condo and very well furnished. Next we went to the East coast of Florida again to the quaint Mid Mari.  Very well maintained and not like a typical high-rise hotel room.  The unit was wonderful, and just a short block to the beach. [I went to] Great Pointe Resort Condominiums in Phoenix, Arizona. The place was so nice I would have stayed the winter had it been possible, but I had to come back home to the cold! I also got a condo [for friends] at the Pointe Resort and they enjoyed it very much. 

            Needless to say I am a very happy customer. Thanks to Niki Moorhead and all the other friendly voices that I have gotten to know. I appreciate the courtesy that [TAN] gives their customers.  I am looking forward to my next trip in the very near future.  Thanks to TAN for the opportunity to travel and enjoy places that I would never have gone to if it hadn't been for TAN.

We met on Halloween night in 1981. She was a black cat cocktail waitress and I was a scarecrow in the band. During one of our many intimate conversations I asked, “If money wasn’t the problem, where would you want to go in this big ol’ world?”  She immediately replied “Hawaii.”  Silently I thought “it’s difficult to find enough money to put gas in my tank let alone afford a trip to Hawaii.” However I never forgot her reply. Vicki moved in with me in 1984 and in 2000 I visited a presentation by Travel Advantage Network and purchased the offer. What a new world awaited us as we found it interesting to decide where we wanted to go on vacation. WOW!!

In 2005, we began to discuss our vacation plans for our well-deserved and earned opportunity to go somewhere special for our 25th anniversary. I suggested Hawaii by reminding her about the reply so long ago. Vicki agreed. The plan was now in motion! As I read about TAN’s options, Hotel Molokai had everything I needed to spring a surprise wedding--even an arch for garden weddings. I contacted the Concierge at the hotel about my plan and she was absolutely superb in helping to arrange the flowers, cake, pastor, marriage license, rings, etc.  I was ecstatic!!

We arrived at Hotel Molokai in October 2006 and were extremely pleased with everything.  The staff knew about the secret plans and was anxiously waiting for me to “pop the question.”  This occurred after swinging in the beachside hammocks located near the wedding arch (which was secured to a palm tree). We were standing about 15 feet away from the arch when I asked if she knew what it was. She replied “maybe to put some flowers on.” I said that happened sometimes. After a pause I said “people get married under it.” About 5 seconds later I asked “the question” to which she immediately replied “YES!!”  WE WERE MARRIED HAWAIIAN STYLE, ON THE BEACH, AT SUNSET, 25 YEARS TO THE DAY WE MET!! FABULOUS!!!!

There are unexpected benefits when visiting Hotel Molokai that are not advertised. The pleasure of listening to “The Aunties”sing & play ukelele every Friday evening (songs like “It’s aloha Friday, go to work on Monday”), two Aunties playing the Hawaiian Wedding Song (impromptu) for our wedding, opportunities to puruse and purchase select local vendors arts and goods, and enjoy the nightly bands and special entertainment. In addition, the “old-time culture” displayed by the locals is indescribably refreshing to the contrasting hustle-bustle world most people experience each working day. In short,words just cannot express the wonderful experience when visiting this tropical paradise.
