How to Book Online
We've worked hard to ensure that booking your next TAN vacation online is simple. Here we'll walk you through the process of online booking.
First, you must be logged in to book. To log in, simply click login in the upper right corner of the website and you will be taken to a login screen. Enter your username and password, click submit, and you will be logged in. If you are having problems logging in:
- Some users were not migrated to the new website. If your username and password are not working, click the register link below the login form and you'll be asked for your account number and phone number or email address. Enter these and click submit and you will be presented with a form to fill out to register.
- Forgot Your Password - this link will email password reset instructions to the email we have on file.
Selecting the Property You Want to Book
Once you're logged in, the first step to online booking is using the search function to find the exact vacation you're looking for. For help with search and finding properties in general, please see Finding Your Vacation.
On the search results page, when you are logged in, you will see a blue book button next to each search result. This button sits right beside the detail button and is circled in blue in the picture on the right.
Once you hit this blue book button, you will be taken to the checkout process. Once you hit the book button, the property you've selected has been put on hold for 15 minutes and will not be available to anyone else. If you do not complete the booking process within 15 minutes, the property will be released back to available property.
The Checkout Cart
The first screen in the checkout process is the shopping cart which details which property you have on hold and are ready to checkout. It will look like the screenshot to the right.(Currently, you are only allowed to have one property in your shopping cart at a time.)
Hit "continue checkout" and you will be sent to the credit card screen. You can also hit delete and search for another vacation.
Checking Out
The last step is to enter your credit card information and traveler information and finish booking your vacation! Once you hit "continue checkout" you will next see a screen that looks like the screenshot to the right. Notice that the total price of your vacation and associated fees, along with the property name and start date, are located in the top half of the screen. (Currently, we do not show a breakdown of the fees for a vacation, that is coming soon.)
Here you will fill out your credit card information and your traveler information (if the traveler information is the same as the credit card information, simply hit "copy" in the middle of the screen). You also must check the box next to I agree to terms and conditions, and check or uncheck whether you want to include Vacation Insurance Program.
After you have filled out all of this information, just click "Checkout" at the bottom of the screen and if your credit card was correctly processed, you will arrive at a confirmation screen and your vacation has been booked. Please save the confirmation number you receive on this screen, and you will receive an email confirmation the next day.
