Vacation Assurance Program

For peace of mind, invest in Travel Advantage Network’s Vacation Assurance Program (VAP). Should anything happen where you need to change or cancel your vacation, VAP guarantees protection against the loss of reservation fees and/or credits your week back into your account.

Pre-paid/Wholesale Week Bookings ($50 non-refundable at the time of booking)

T-30 days or more prior to travel date:
* All fees refunded
* Prepaid travelers: credit week
* Wholesale travelers: credit voucher

10 to 29 days prior to travel date:
* Processing fee forfeited
* All other travel fees refunded
* Prepaid travelers: credit week
* Wholesale travelers: credit voucher

9 or fewer days prior to travel date:
* All travel fees forfeited
* Prepaid travelers: credit week
* Wholesale travelers: credit voucher

 

Excess Inventory Bookings ($30 non-refundable at the time of booking)

T-3 days or more prior to travel date:
* All fees credited to your TAN account (no refunds)
* Credit is valid for a future booking only
* Credit must be used within 90 days after cancellation

Less than 3 days prior to travel date:
* All travel fees forfeited

Hot Weeks Bookings ($30 non-refundable at the time of booking)

9 days or more prior to travel date:
* All fees credited to your TAN account (no refunds)
* Credit is valid for a future Hot Week booking only
* Credit must be used within 90 days after cancellation

This is not insurance; should you need to cancel a reservation, you will not have to forfeit all fees. The following conditions apply: 

1. VAP must be paid at the time of booking. It cannot be purchased at a later date. If, for whatever reason, the payment does not clear, the plan will not be honored.
2. Should it be necessary to cancel a vacation, TAN must be notified immediately with the reservation number.
3. VAP protects TAN travelers against accommodation cancellation penalties for bookings made with Travel Advantage Network only. It does not protect against cancellation penalties imposed by airlines or any other travel related service.
4. VAP does not provide refunds for early departures.
5. Please note: this program is not insurance and only provides for the refund of TAN reservations fees and credit for vacation weeks as stated above.
6. VAP is not refundable.
7. TAN highly recommends the purchase of VAP at booking, as no exceptions will be made to our normal cancellation policy.
8. Without VAP, all bookings are final. No changes, refunds or credits of travel fees will be made once a booking is confirmed.
9. Acts of God (e.g., flood, fire, hurricanes, tornados, etc.) and acts of terrorism occurring within the outlined timeframe prior to a scheduled TAN vacation are handled on a case-by-case basis.
