Frisco is just up the road from Breckenridge, a well preserved old-west Victorian mining town. The lure of gold that brought settlers to the high mountain valley of Breckinridge in 1859 lasted until the 1940s. The mining camp extended along the banks of the Blue River. Later, in the 1960s, the town became known as a world-class alpine ski resort.

If skiing is not your sport, there is no shortage of entertainment at Colorado Rocky Mountain Resorts - Frisco. The Rockies abound with outdoor activities, regardless of the season. All year-round, historic Main Street in Breckenridge offers more than 400 unique boutiques, galleries, bistros and award winning restaurants.
