THE PROMISE OF CHILDREN AND TRAVEL ADVANTAGE NETWORK

Many employees of Travel Advantage Network have children at home. In safe and nurturing environments, we have seen these children bring laughter and joy to those around them. This reinforces what we already know: children are the promise of our future and every child deserves support, protection and positive development in order to succeed. To foster this, we focused on two important charities for the month of January: The Promised Land Society and Prevent Child Abuse America. With the common goals of preventing child abuse and neglect and ensuring a healthy development for children, these important organizations took precedence within TAN headquarter walls.

Debi Mongan, Andrea Najarian and Michele Mackenzie of our Vendor Sales department spearheaded the highest-earning individual charity fundraiser in TAN’s history. By selling raffle tickets to internal staff at TAN as well as friends, family and associated contacts, they raised an astounding $1,800.

"It was a distinct pleasure to see my TAN family rally for two charities that mean so much to me personally," stated Debi Mongan, Manager of Vendor Sales.  "The Vendor Sales team raised a record amount of money for Prevent Child Abuse America at a time when they really needed it.  I also greatly appreciated the exposure for The Promised Land Society, my own family’s foundation dedicated to preventing child abuse and neglect.  I have seen our donation at work in preparation for April, which is Child Abuse Prevention month.  Kudos to the Vendor Sales team, great work!"

We applaud Debi, Andrea, and Michele, for their efforts to raise funds for these non-profit organizations. We are also proud of TAN’s employees for their participation in the raffle and for their generous contributions to benefit The Promised Land Society and Prevent Child Abuse America.
