The closest major airport is Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI) and Philadelphia International Airport (PHI), which are both about a three-hour drive to the Delaware shore. Another option is that you can fly American Airlines into Salisbury/Ocean City Regional Airport (SBY), which is about an hour and a half drive to the Delaware shore; however, because only one airline flies in and out of this airport, flights are more limited. To explore while on vacation, you will want to have a car so be sure to rent one if you are not already traveling by car to this destination.
